SUPPORT FOR PRIME MINISTER. FRANCE MAKES EVERY EFFORT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.' Paris, Feb, 15. The Chamber of Deputies passed a vote of confidence in the Prime Minister, M. Flandin, by 444 votes to 124, after a debate on unemployment _in which he demanded a truce to criticism. He declared that the Government had strained every nerve to remedy the crisis and for that reason was attempting a reduction in interest rates. He added that he was prepared to combine the dole, public works and shorter hours in a scheme to relieve unemployment.
