FRASER ROAD SCHOOL
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The Fraser Road school committee held its first meeting of the year on Wednesday evening, those present being Messrs. J. Moller (chairman), F. Dunlop, S. Death, L. Jennings and E. Gibson. The head teacher (Mr. L. B. Galbraith) reported that the roll number was 54 and that an exceptionally good percentage of attendance would be needed. if the grade of the school were to be maintained. The contractors had made a good job of the concrete paths during the holidays. The merry-go-round was appreciated by the children. Arrangements had been made for a combined picnic with the Rotokare school. The ptonic would be held on Mrs. J. Thompson s property on Friday. It was decided that during the hot weather the school should open at 8.30 a.m.
