TIGHTER THAN EVER
HOLD ON TERRORISM IN INDIA. NO RELATION OF PRESSURE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 10 p.m. Calcutta, Feb. 12. The Governor of Bengal, Sir John Anderson, addressing the Bengal Legislative Council at Calcutta, claimed that the Government had a tighter hold on the terrorist situation than ever before, but that if pressure were relaxed the situation would speedily deteriorate. Many desperate characters were still at large.
