NEW PLYMOUTH Mrs. J. M. Warnock has returned from a camping holiday at the Oakura beach. Mrs. C. B. Webster will leave to-day for a holiday at .North Mount Egmont. Miss Heather Horrax left yesterday to visit Miss Phyllis Linton, Carterton. . Mrs. F. H. Blundell left yesterday to spend a few days at Rotorua. Mrs. A. E. Conway is spending a holiday at Tongaporutu. Mrs. M. J. Neville has returned from a short visit to the North Egmdiit Hostel. Miss M. Balharry was hostess at a tennis party on Monday afternoon. Miss C. Church has returned to Christchurch. - ' Mrs. L., C. Sladden left on Monday on a visit to her sister, Mrs. R. Davis, Nelson. Mrs. F. S. Grayling returned during the week-end from a camping holiday at Oakura. Mrs. D. E. Brown and Mrs. O. Johnson are spending a holiday camping at the Oakura beach. Mrs. J. Hobbs, Hawera, is visiting New Plymouth as the guest of Mrs. A. E. Rawson. Mrs. Loftus Russell, has returned to New Plymouth after spending lhe holidays at Paeroa. Mrs. C. Bayley has. returned to Hawera after spending several weeks at New Plymouth. Mrs. A. E. Rawson and Miss Barbara Rawson will leave by the express to-night on a holiday visit to Auckland. Mrs. Warren, who has been spending some weeks at New Plymouth, returned to Auckland on Monday night. Miss Joan Rennell returned by the express on Monday after spending a holiday at Auckland. ■ Miss E. Andrews and Miss M. Kirton left on Saturday to spend several weeks touring the South Island. Miss Gweri Griffith has returned from a holiday at Auckland and in the Bay of Islands. Miss Doris White, who has been visiting New Plymouth, left yesterday morning to return to Timaru. Miss Betty Keeling will return to Auckland this evening. She was' the guest of Miss Viva Whitcombe for a few days. Miss Margaret McHardy, who has been on a-short visit to Auckland, is expected to return to-day. Miss M. Cprkill, who had been visiting Hamilton for a week, returned to New Plymouth yesterday. Miss Mary Alexander, Auckland, is spending a holiday at New Plymouth as the guest of Mrs. A. Evers-Swindell. Mrs. L. Spence, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. J. Warnock, returned to Gisborne yesterday. Miss D. Mooney has returned to New Plymouth after spending the vacation at Whangarei. The resignation .of Nurse F. Ballinger was accepted with regret by the Taranaki Hospital Board yesterday. Mrs. E. O’Reilly and family, who have been spending the holidays at New Plymouth, returned to Patea yesterday. Mrs. E. A. Adlaxn and Miss Hazel Adlam, of Stratford, are camping at the Belt Road camp site, New Plymouth. Mrs. W. L. Hughes, Wellington, will arrive from Auckland to-day. She will be the guest of- Mrs. L. W. Lovell for' a few weeks. Mrs. T. C. List and Miss Betty List returned during the week-end from a month’s holiday at York Bay, Wellington. Mrs. S. Newcombe arrived from Napier last night. Horner, Te Aroha, for several weeks. Mrs. A. Henderson, Remuera,- and her daughter, Miss' Moira Henderson, who have been spending a holiday at New Plymouth will return home to-night. Mrs. G. S. White, Mrs. Genties and Miss Ruth Gentles, who have been visiting Auckland, returned to New Plymouth on Saturday. Mrs. A. E. Grant and Miss Ethel Grant returned to New Plymouth during the week-end after spending several weeks at Ashburton. Mrs. E. Anderson, who has been the guest of Mrs. D. Deighton for several weeks, will leave to-day fdr Palmerston North on her return to Christchurch. Miss M. Ramson left on Monday for i_-mterville. She will attend the GraceDuncan wedding at Wanganui to-mor-row. . Mrs. D. Christie and Miss Marshall arrived from Wanganui during the weekend to spend several weeks at New Plymouth. Mrs. Eliot King was hostess at a tennis party, yesterday afternoon, when Mrs. Trevor Simpson and Mrs. Hugh Fraser, Auckland, were guests of honour. Miss M. Campbell, Hamilton, and Miss E. Madeley, Masterton, have been visiting Mrs. M. Campbell, Waiwaka Terrace. Accompanied by Mrs. Campbell, they left yesterday to spend a holiday at Dawson Falls.
