POLISH SINGER DEAD
FORMERLY A STAR IN OPERA. RETIRED GENERATION AGO. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 6.30 p.m. New York, Jan. 11. The death has occurred of Madame Marcella Sembrich, aged 76, the Polish opera star. She was famous throughout the musical world before her retirement from opera in 1909 and from the concert stage in 1916.
