RECORD OF A NOTABLE EVENT.-Gold model of the Dunedin Post Office, presented to the Duke of Gloucester on Saturday morning when he laid the foundation-stone of the new building. The model, in the top of which Is an ink-well, is mounted on a base of Bluff granite, the same as that used for the facings of the structure. The front of the stone bears a crown and two gold racks holding a gold pen, the two sides being adorned with the crest of His Royal Highness and the New Zealand coat-of-arms.
