WOMEN IN THE WORLD
ENGINEERING WORK. Mrs. James Mollkon is the new president of the Society of Women Engineers. Mrs. Mollison said that she was the first woman to qualify as a ground engineer, and the only woman to have the distinction of an Honorary Fellowship of the Society of Engineers. Obviously, for the higher branches of engineering, it is necessary for the aspirant to possess mechanical and mathematical aptitude, and. along with these mental qualities, a sound physique. Given these, the engineering profession offers as bright prospects as any other, mid the records of those pioneer women engineers who have succeeded prove that the sex disability does pot operate where real professional skill is present.
