WOUNDING OF KING
ALBANIAN REPORT RECEIVED. DENIAL ISSUED FROM CAPITAL. ■ s By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Athens, January 2. It is reported that King Zog of Albania was wounded by a bomb explosion at the palace at Tirana, where revolutionaries are fighting the loyal troops. A Tirana message, however, officially states that reports of a disturbance in Albania are without foundation. Albania, under Turkish domination until the first Balkan war, when it received autonomy, became a kingdom only in 1928. Ahmed Bey Zogu, who led the movement that resulted in Albania being proclaimed a republic in 1925 and who became the first President, was proclaimed the first King.
