PERSONAL AND SOCIAL ITEMS. Miss Koa Day is spending her vacation at Ohura as the guest of Miss Betty Allen. . Mrs. Armstrong and Miss Pat Armstrong are spending a “holiday in the north. Miss I. MacClure is the guest of Mrs. Julian, Niho Niho. Mrs. Dougherty and family, who have been staying with her mother, .Mrs. J. MacClure, have returned to their home at Niho Niho. Miss Z. Harley, Wanganui, is the guest of Miss Audrey Davidson for the holidays. Mrs. J. L. Robinson is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Leach, at Taumarunui. The following attended the Stratford race meeting on Monday, Mrs. Fowler, Mrs. Maclntyre, Mrs. Power, Miss I. Koorey, Miss D. Goldfinch and Miss Betty Allen. Mr. Muir, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Dons for the holidays. Misses Grace, Nancy and Gwen Howie are visiting Hunterville.
