DROWNED IN CAR

BRITISH TIENTSIN RESIDENTS, LOST THEIR WAY IN HEAVY FOG. Shanghai, Dec. 18. Mr. Ronald Tipper and Miss Crook shank, British residents of Tientsin, were drowned in a motor-car in the Haiho River last night. They were in a heavy fog in a closed car, and apparently took til© wrong turning, for the ear went over an embankment into the water and turned over.

The vehicle was found this morning 200 yards further down the stream. Mr. Tipper's parents reside at Tientsin, but at present are on a holiday trip to Australia.
