Pieces of furniture, knives, slit motor tyres and iron bars were used in a fierce nightlong cafe fight between Austrians and Bavarians at Badiabling, a little town ten miles from the Austrian frontier, where 350 members of the disarmed Austrian Nazi Legion are encamped, states the News-Chronicle s Munich correspondent. Austrians shouted “Down with Hitlerl and Bavarians “Out with these parasites!” ,„ , j One Bavarian was killed and more than twenty were injured, nine being dangerously hurt. The fighting did not cease until a motor detachment of Nazi guards arrived from Dachau. The ca±e was completely demolished.
