TOUR OF FLIERS
MANAWATU MACHINE CONTINUING. CHRISTCHURCH VISIT TO-DAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Nov. 30. With reference to the Auckland message regarding the abandonment of the tour of the Dominion by the centenary air race fliers, the president of the Manawatu Aero Club, Mr. H. E. Edmunds, states that although the Auckland Aero Club’s machine Tainui has been withdrawn from the tour the Miles Hawk machine piloted by SquadronLeader M. C. McGregor and Mr. H. C. Walker will complete the tour and carry out the itinerary as arranged. The plane will visit Christchurch at the weekend.
