FEW CHANGES DURING WEEK. NEW PLYMOUTH QUOTATIONS. There have been few changes in produce prices at New Plymouth during the week. In the vegetable list beans and peas have become substantially cheaper, but fruit remains practically unaltered. Dairy produce shows little alteration, but ■ eggs are a penny a dozen cheaper. - Yesterday’s quotations weer':— Fruit: Apples, Delicious 4d, cookers 4d, Stunners 4d; plums, 4d and 6d per lb; cherries, Is 6d per lb; oranges, South Australian Valencias, 5 and 6 for Is; lemons, Tauranga, 10 for Is; banaans, 21b for Is; hothouse tomatoes, Is per lb; grapes, Is per lb; strawberries, Is 6d per chip; gooseberries, 4d per lb; red currants, 8d per lb. Vegetables: New poatoes, 61b for Is;, kumeras, 41b for Is; onions, 51b for Is; cabbages, 2d and 3d each; cauliflowers, 6d and 8d each; lettuces, 2d, 3d and 4d; green peas, 4lb for Is; broad beans, 3d per lb; asparagus, 6d a bundle; local grown, 9d; spinach, 3d 'a'bundle; silver beet, 3d a bundle; rhubarb, 5d and 6d a bundle; French beans, .6d per lb; beetroot and carrots, 3d a bundle. SALE .AT NEW - PLYMOUTH. L. A. Nolan and Company report a full entry at their poultry sales yesterday with prices well maintained.
