BILL PASSED WITHOUT DIVISION. NOBODY NOW BRITISH SUBJECT. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Dublin, Nov. 28. The Dail passed the second reading of| the Citizenship Bill without a division. Mr. de Valera emphasised that after it 5 was enacted nobody in the Free State | would be a British subject: otherwise all i the principles agreed upon at Imperial conferences would be jettisoned. It would be impertinence if Britain claimed as citizens persons who obviously were citizens of another country. Not one comma of the Bill need be altered if Ireland were declared a re-1 public to-morrow.
