SECOND ROUND BEGINS. THURSDAY CLUBS’ CONTEST. The second round of the Thursday bowling competition was commenced yesterday in ideal weather, the results being:— Stratford 134 v. Avon 122, at Stratford. Stratford 133 v. Avon 94, at Avon. MATCH AT AVON GREEN. HOME TEAM: DEFEATED. There was a difference of 39 points in Stratford’s favour on the totals when team scores were added up after the Stratford v.
