WITHDRAWAL OF INVITATION. DESIRE TO AVOID CLASHING. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Cape Town, Dec. 29. A special general meeting of the South African Rugby Board to-day withdrew the proposal to invite a British team to tour South Africa in 1936 in view of the fact that a New Zealand team will be in England in 1935-36.
