STILL FINE AND HOT
DRY SPELL CONTINUING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will still be fine and warm to hot, according to the 4 p.m. forecast. Some rain will develop tomorrow in the extreme south-west. North-westerly winds are expected to prevail south of New Plymouth and Napier. North-easterlies are expected to the north of those towns. Winds will be light to moderate but freshening in the south. Seas in New Zealand wateis are rising in the far south and later in Cook Strait. Otherwise they will be smooth to moderate. In the eastern Tasman Sea moderate but freshening northerly winds and moderate seas are forecast. An intense anti-cyclone covers the New Zealand area but the highest pressure is now to the east. A moderate depression has reached south-eastern Australia.
