RECORDS BROKEN AT GEELONG. BRISBANE COMPETITION KEEN. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Nov. 29. The finest selection of choice and super wools ever submitted at a single sale in Australia was offered at the Geelong wool sales. New Australian records were established for Merino, which made 211 d; come back, 18d. At the Brisbane sales competition was particularly keen and 95 per cent, of the 10,000 bales offered was disposed of, values being firm. Greasy sold to 16}d, and scoured to 26d. The London sale, says a cable, was postponed because of rain.
