SETTLEMENT OF DIFFERENCES.

The annual conference of the North Island Poultry, Pigeon and Qanary Association elected Mr. G. C. Thornton (Hastings) president, Mr. J. C. Nssfield (Auckland) and Mr. J. Paterson (Wanganui) vice-presidents. As a result of deliberations with representatives of the Federation of Cage Bird Clubs an agreement was reached bridging the gulf that existed between the federation and the association for the last three years. The association will now lift the disqualification on breeders exhibiting canaries in federation shows.
