SENTENCE OF SIX MONTHS’ GAOL.
CHARGE OF FALSE PRETENCES.

Wellington, Nov. 26.
With 37 previous convictions, Charles Patrick McCarthy, aged 39. labourer, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment to-day for attempting to obtain money by false pretences.
