FINE, WARM WEATHER
DISTURBANCES WITHOUT EFFECT.

Wellington, Last Night.
A few isolated light rains are expected in western districts, but otherwise the weather should be fine and warm, states the 4 p.m. forecast. A very shallow series of westerly depressions has been crossing the South Island and a Slight low pressure trough is passing through Cook Strait. None o. these disturbances is having much effect on the weather. North to west winds should prevail, light to moderate mainly but rather strong at times in the Cook and Foveaux Strait areas. _ Seas Will be rough about Cook Strait and south of Nugget Point, but are moderating and elsewhere they will be smooth t? moderate.
