Mrs. F. Prideaux, New Plymouth, is the guest of Mrs. Cummins. Mrs. Hamilton, Palmerston North, is Visiting her mother, Mrs. GlOver. Mrs. Cull, Foxton, is staying with Mrs. S. Reader.
Mrs, H. McKay, who has been holidaymaking at Gpuiiake, has returned.
Mite Parsons, Waitotara, was a visitor to Stritford for the show.
Mrs. L. Sole is staying with hei- mother, Mrs. J. Armstrong, Waiters. Mrs. A. Coleman and Miss Joan Coleman left by, motor on Sunday for a fortnight’s holiday at Wellington. Misses Walkington, Waverlcy, M. Bright and W. Washer, Hawera, wete visitors td‘ Stratford last week.
Mrs. A. J. Cole and Mrs. R. Harris have returned to Fitztoy after a visit to Stratfdrd. Mesdames Ritchie and Siddels, Opunake, were visitors to Stratford last week.
Mrs. Leadbeater was the guest of Mrs. R. Wdod when she paid a short visit to Stratford.
Mrs. J. Deans, who has been staying with Mrs. Ttass, has returned to Auckland.
Mrs. A. Gardiner and Mrs. Wilson have returned from a visit to Mrs. T. Gardiner, FitzrOy. Members of the Stratford Mountain Club gave a jdlly kitchen evening in Miss Tui Macßae’s studio on Friday in honour of the forthcoming marriage of Miss Mavis Collins to Mr. John Carryer. The evening was spent in modern and old-time dancing, music being played by Miss E. Coleman, Mr. 0. Orr and Mr. M. Thompson. Mr. Carryer replied on behalf of his fiancee. Among those present were Mesdames Carryer, Macßae, 0. Orr, Harris, Fastier and Misses Carryer (2), H. J. Macßae, 0. Cannon, B. Kivel, M. Wilson, D. Cook, E. Coleman, M. McCarthy, C. Harris, V. Cuff, M. Elgar, J. Whitmill, E. Reeves, Pratt and Harris.
