VICTIMS OF MOTOR RACE SMASH.
SLIGHT IMPROVEMENTS REPORTED.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.30 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 26. A slight improvement is reported in the condition of all victims of the Maroubra crash.
Skidding while racing at 70 miles an hour, a light car yesterday dashed into a safety fence at the Maroubra speedway, flinging in all directions the spectators who were leaning over the fence. Nine were badly injured and two were not expected to recover. Mr. Murray Maxwell, aged 24, the driver of the car. and Mr. James Margot, aged 28, the mechanic, are still in a critical condition.
