HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SEAT. NO VOTE IN PARLIAMENT. / By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Darwin, Nov. 23. The poll has just been declared for the Northern Territory seat in the House of Representatives, Mr. H. G. Nelson (Federal Labour), who has held the seat for 12 years, was defeated by Mr. R. A. M. Blain (Independent), the final figures for the whole territory being:— Blain 926 Nelson 850 Aboriginals are not entitled to vote while the member' has no vote in Par - 1 liament.
