M. Nasmith and S. Betts, both leading representative players, reached the century, and two scores in the nineties were regisWestern Park and High School, the leading teams in the northern division senior competition, both suffered defeat, to Old Boys and New Plymouth respectively. Hawera Old Boys and Kaponga won in the south and are together, well in the lead. The teams play eachother next week Kaponga scored 292 against Hawera, and Old Boys defeated Patea. Power Board had its first win of the year against Stratford. .... r. The country cricket competition is m recess until the harvesting season slackens.
