SMUGGLED JEWELS
PROSECUTION IN AUSTRALIA. IMPORTS FROM NEW ZEALAND. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 10 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 23. Jewellery and diamonds valued at over £lOOO were produced in the Central Police Court to-day, when Abraham van Rooijan was fined £25, he having smuggled them into the Commonwealth from New Zealand on September 30.
