RELIEF PAYMENTS
NEW SCALE CONSIDERED.
SMALL INCREASE EXPECTED.

Wellington, Last Night. A new scale of relief allocations is being considered by the Unemployment Board this afternoon at a meeting at Parliament Buildings, and it is expected that an announcement of the board’s decision will be made within a few days. It is expected there will be a small all-round increase in the ambunts paid to relief workers.
