HUIROA CRICKET DANCE
PERSONAL AND GENERAL NEWS.
The Huiroa Cricket Club held a dance in the hall last Friay. About 70 were present. Music was supplied by Mrs. Wright’s orchestra, extras being played by Miss Joyce Wallace and Messrs. Jacobson and Potroz. Mr. G. McGlaughton acted as master of ceremonies. Mrs. Alfred Watkin, Takanini, Auckland, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. W. Blair. Mrs. E. Bennett is spending a few days at Cardiff. Mrs. H. Hoby, who has been on a visit to Ohura, has returned home. Mrs. Sid Hinton is away >n holiday. Mrs. Hinton, Hastings, has been paying a visit to Mr. and Mrs. V. Hinton. Misses G. and N. Rodgers are staying with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chapman, New Plymouth. Miss Violet Rogers is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Shewry, Tahora.
