LORD MAYOR VISITS LORD CHANCELLOR.—In accordance with ancient procedure, the Lord Mayor-elect of London, Sir Stephen Killik, visited the House of Lords on October 12 to be introduced to the Lord Chancellor, and to receive the King’s approval of his appointment. Sir Stephen is seen leaving the House after the ceremony with his daughter, Mrs. Stanley Greenland, who is acting as Lady Mayoress.
