Young Jones, being unable to find a job at his own trade, applied for a vacancy as a drapery assistant in a large store. “Do you know anything about the trade?” asked the manager. “What do you know about georgette, for instance? “Georgette?” replied the youth, enthusiastically. “I knew her quite well. Very nice girl, isn’t she?”
