LEADING SOUTH TARANAKI DAIRY HERD.—The productive herd of Mr. W. Hudson, Sutherland Road, Manaia. The herd recorded the highest average in the South Taranaki Herd-Testing Association last season. There are 33 cows, all grades, and the average was 412.48lb. butterfat in 282 days, 8777lb. milk and 4.69 test The association average, which was a record for New Zealand, was 309.89lb. butterfat per cow, with a 4.66 test.
