TE KIRI EUCHRE SEASON
GENERAL NEWS OF DISTRICT. The concluding euchre party and dance in aid of tire Te Kiri Church funds was held in the hall on Tuesday night. There was a good attendance and the prize-winners were: Men, Mr. T. Graham 1, O. Northcott and E. Clegg 2; ladies, Mrs. W. Thorpe 1, Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. Cameron 2, while consolation prizes went t< Mr. J. Hahaii and Mrs. Reid. J. Hooker’s orchestra supplied the music and extras were played by Miss G. Tynan and S. Gordon. A competition was won by Mr. Pointon, senr. Mr. R. Gatenby was the master of ceremonies. Mr. S. Thacker, a factory employee, injured his elbow, having to be given medical attention.
