THIEF DETAINED
CAFE PROPRIETOR’S ACTION. OFFENDER SENT TO PRISON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 13. The robbing of the till of the Cafe De Luxe, Willis Street, last evening, ' saw the proprietor rush after the thief and hold him in a nearby right-of-way until the arrival of a police van. The man was Harold Edward McCullough, aged 31, a labourer. He had a list of previous convictions and got three months’ gaol.
