DROWNED IN BATHS
FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILD AT FOXTON. ENTERED IN CARETAKER’S ABSENCE By Telegraph—Press Association. Foxton, Nov. 12. The four-year-old son of Mr. R. Morris, Foxton, was drowned in the municipal baths this morning. The child entered the baths in the absence of the caretaker and must have fallen into the water. When the caretaker returned after a brief absence another child told her that the little boy was in the water. The child was then floating. Resuscitation was unavailing. There was no one in the baths at the time other than the two children. The caretaker left the door open during her absence and the children must have wandered in.
