NEW PLYMOUTH BOARD MEETS. INFORMATION FOR “LAY-OUT.” • The monthly meeting of the New Plymouth Airport Board was held last night, when there were present MessrsA. F. Sandford (chairman), N. Hannan, T. P. Anderson, J- Brown and the secretary, Mr. S. E. Neilson. The secretary reported that in regard to the lay-out of the airport he had written to the chairman of the Aerodrome Advisory Board of England for all possible information for the board’s guidance at Bell Block. The English body was a board of experts who had a full knowledge of machines and general requirements. When making their final arrangements it was necessary to be in possession of the latest ideas and information. Mr- Sandford stated that the work at the port was going along steadily. Nearly all the stumps by the tennis courts had been removed. Mr. S. G-. Smith, M-P-, wrote that he had made strong representations to the Post and Telegraph Department regarding the removal of the lines along Devon and Te Arei Roads.
