FLIGHT OF PACIFIC
MR. ULM’S WEST TO EAST CROSSING DEPARTURE FOR CANADA MADE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 6.30 p.m. London, Nov. 10. Mr. C. T. P. Ulm left for Canada by the Ascania taking his aeroplane with him. He told the Sun-Herald that loading tests had not been completed mainly owing to the factory’s late delivery. It was essential to travel by the Ascania because she is the last ship before the river freezes. Consequently he will complete the tests in Canada at the company’s risk. He will accept the machine only if the tests are successful. He hopes to arrive at Australia on November 27.
