As a sequel to the publication of a pamphlet entitled “McArthur strikes back at the Coates and Kelly gang,” Maurice Vincent Bates, Auckland manager of the Investment Executive Trust of New Zealand, Ltd., was charged In the Police Court 'with dispersing and with publishing a pamphlet in which the place of .abode, of th® printer was not stated. He pleaded guilty. The police said that over 1500 pamphlets had been printed. Bates said that they had been printed on instructions from Australia. The printer had been prosecuted on similar charges at Wellington. Counsel said the offences were only technical.
