The attendance was small and the track was in good order, being little affected by the rain. The totalisator investments . totalled £11,444, compared with £17,591 on the second day last year. Master Norval came through with a fine finishing run over the last furlong to defeat Royal Artist, Musquil and Killadar. Musquil, the outsider of the field, made a good showing and finished solidly after- making most of the running with Baroscope.
