500 NEW MOTOR-CARS
SHIPMENT BY THE MATAROA. EVIDENCE OF RECIPROCITY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Oct. 31. The cargo of the Mataroa, which satis for New Zealand to-morrow, includes 500 British motor-cars, a record Shaw-Savill shipment, providing an example of New Zealand reciprocity for Britain’s imports of her butter, meat and wool. The Mataroa’s shipment of cars is practically all from the motor show at Olympia and is valued at £lOO,OOO. This is the culmination of four years of attack by the British light-car industry upon the Dominion market.
