OTANGIWAI CARD SERIES
GENERAL AND PERSONAL ITEMS. Over sixty people attended the final evening of the series held by the Otangiwai hall committee in the hall on Friday. The supper room was well filled. First prize was won by Messrs. L. S. Fauchelle, T. Brown, J. Passmore and W. Rumsby. Consolation prizes were won by Mesdames J. Crozier and W. de Malmanche and Messrs. J. Crozier and W. de Malmanche. Before commencing dancing Mr. T. B. R. Julian thanked for their patronage throughout the series, especially those who had supplied the supper. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss C. Roebuck and Mr. E. Fauchelle. Mrs. E. C. Thomas played the music, .Mr. A. K. Margan giving extras, while Messrs. H. Fauchelle C. McDougall were masters of ceremonies. Mrs. L. S. Fauchelle, who has been visiting Feilding, has returned to Otangiwai. Mr. and Mrs. S. Thomas, Martinborough, are the guests of Mr." and Mrs. W. Chaytor, Otangiwai.
