A persistent critic of the high ex--., change, Mr. R. A. Wright, has asked the Minister of Finance whether it was correct that exporters, who collect 25 per cent, of exchange on their produce sent to London, which is unearned, are charged by the Inconfb Tax Department only at the rate imposed on their earned income and if so ’zill he take steps to insist on all the exchange received by exporters being made subject to the tax levied on unearned income which is necessarily higher than that levied ori . earned income. -
