REMOVAL OF CHURCH
RE-ERECTION IN GROWING SUBURB FASHIONABLE WEST END CHURCH. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. London, Oct. 14. The fashionable West End church St. Andrew's, Wells Street, which has outlived its usefulness, has been removed stone by stone to Kingsbury, Middlesex, a growing suburb, where the Bishop of London reconsecrated it. The operation involved the removal of 39,000 stones. Queen Alexandra worshipped at the church and Sarah Bernhardt wai married there.
