THREAT BY COALMINERS. HUNGER-STRIKE UNDERGROUND By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Budapest, Oct. 14. A thousand coalminers hunger-striking underground at Pecs threaten that unless the management agrees to their terms they will stop the air and water pumps, thus committing suicide. A Socialist deputy appealed to the Government to assist the miners, who are prostrate as the result of two days’ fast.
