BLOOD TEST IN CASE
AFFILIATION PROCEEDINGS. DEFENDANT’S APPLICATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. ■ Dunedin, Oct. 15. A novel point was raised in an affiliation case this morning when counsel for defendant sought an adjournment for six months to enable a blood , group test to be made to disprove paternity. Counsel said that the period was the shortest in which the group could b« properly settled. ■ The magistrate elected to hear complainant’s case, reserving the point raised for consideration, if necessary.
