NEW BRIDGE DESIGN
LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL PLAN. COMMITTEE’S RECOMMENDATION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright British Wireless. ' Rugby, Oct. 12. The London County Council highways committee recommends the adoption of a new design for Waterloo bridge submitted by the council’s appointed engineers and Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. It will have several wide arches, the northern arch stretching over the Vic-, toria Embankment into the river.
