YACHT’S ROUGH TRIP
THIRTY-ONE DAYS FROM PAPEETE. ONLY THREE DAYS’ STORES LEFT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Octoberl3. The schooner-rigged, yacht Tahitienne reached Auckland this afternoon, 31 days out from Papeete. She lost seven days on the trip through the forestay carrying away, and had only three days’ stores left. She is in charge of Captain W. Brander, who has a crew of six natives. The yacht was built at Los Angeles in 1923 and has since been in the Island trade. She is to be laid up at Auckland
