DULL, MISTY WEATHER
IMPROVEMENT EXPECTED SOON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night The weather is expected to be dull, misty, with further rain in most districts, says the 4 p.m. forecast. A fairly general improvement is likely tomorrow, with cool conditions. A shallow depression has been crossing the Dominion to-day, while a moderate anti-cyclone is approaching from the Tasman. Strong north-westerly winds are likely at first in North Auckland, but otherwise southerlies will prevail, light to moderate mainly but strong in a few exposed positions. Seas will be rather rough, but decreasing north of Cape- Egmont and East Cape and smooth to moderate elsewhere.
