APPOINTMENT OF COMMITTEES. CONFERENCE AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Baptist Union appointed committees to-day. The union council is to be the president (Rev. Laird), the vicepresident (Dr. C. North), the past president (Mr. W. J. Bardsley), the secretary and treasurer (Rev. Lascelles) the Revs. North, Hiddleston, Basfield, Stuart, Anstice, Jones, Archer, Lambert, BoultonSmith, North, Messrs. Wiles, Power, Barracott, Ivory, Barker, Gaze, Carey, Kindon, Dearsly, Newton, Horner, Calder, Noes and Lambourne.
