BOYCOTT POSTPONED
MANCHESTER GROCERS DECIDE. TIME FOR CONSIDERATION GIVEN. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright London, Oct. 10. The northern council of the Grocers’ Association at a meeting in Manchester decided to postpone an organised boycott until the Commonwealth had had time to consider the situation. The council will reconsider the matter in November. A section of the council favoured recommending the public to buy New Zealand in preference to Australian produce, but the amendment was defeated.
