LABOUR’S TRIBUTE
MEMORY OF FORMER LEADER. GRAVE OF MR. H. E. HOLLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 11. Tributes to the memory of the late Mr. H. E. Holland, formerly leader of the Opposition, who died on October 8 last year, were paid by supporters of the Labour Party this morning, when about 80 persons gathered at the grave and wreaths were laid on behalf of a number of branches of the Labour and speeches were delivered By Mr. M. J. Savage, Leader of the Opposition, Mr. H. T. Armstrong; M.P., president of the New Zealand Labour Party, Mr. J. Roberts, secretary of the Alliance of Labour, and Mr. P. C. Webb, M.’P. for Buller.
